Miltona, Minnesota is located in the northeast portion of Douglas County off of Highway 29. The town is home to over 400 residents and covers 0.5 square miles.
The water is provided by individual wells and sewage is handled by the water treatment plant. Electricity is provided by Otter Tail Power Company.
Permits are required for any construction in town and are approved by the city council. There is also a zoning ordinance that covers which types of construction allowed in different areas of the city.
